Beethoven’s 250th Anniversary
The year 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven, and COMSO pays homage with an all-Beethoven program. The Overture to Fidelio will be followed by the melodious fireworks of the Triple Concerto featuring Paul Smith, piano, Joanna Pinckney, violin, and Paul Rhodes, cello. Considered by many to be the paragon of classical form, the Symphony No. 7 in A major makes a welcome return to the COM stage.
