J.S. Bach - Magnificat in D major, BWV243
Marin Oratorio presents two beloved choral masterpieces. Johann Sebastian Bach’s Magnificat in D major, brimming with splendor and jubilation, is a jewel among Bach’s sacred works. George Frideric Handel’s Messiah has long captivated audiences; its lush word painting, masterful counterpoint, and astonishing choral writing make this work his crowning musical achievement. The 100-voice Marin Oratorio chorus and orchestra will be joined by guest soloists Christa Pfeiffer, Jessica House Steward, Buffy Baggott, Lee Steward, and Bill Pickersgill.
