DRAMA

Since its inception over 60 years ago, the highly acclaimed Drama Program at College of Marin continually inspires students to dwell in the world of Shakespeare, comedies and dramas both past and present, and popular musicals.

Founded in 1964 by celebrated director James Dunn, the program has become a professional training ground for Hollywood movie stars, Broadway actors, and community theatre headliners. Some of the best known graduates are Robin Williams, David Dukes, and Kathleen Quinlan; but hundreds of students have gone on to study in conservatories and work in academia, national repertories, television, and film. With over 250 productions to date, the program has earned numerous honors and its instructors have received many prestigious awards.
