The Symphonic Wind Ensemble explores these polar opposites in music. Featuring works by Igor Stravinsky, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Percy Grainger, and Dmitri Shostakovich, whose 9th Symphony makes us laugh, then cry, then both at the same time.
