Sci-fi Fantasy Band!
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble of College of Marin journeys through time and space, from The Odyssey of Homer and Ancient Egypt, to the medieval castles of Gloucester, then on to the Italian Renaissance, finally leaving the planet to explore the galaxy! Our concert features composers from 19th century Luigini through the 20th century's Prokofiev, Padilla, and Shostakovich, to 21st century music by Adrian L. Quince and John Mackey.
