JULY 16 — 24, 2022
Featuring Contemporary Opera Marin
Paul Smith, Director
After a two-year hiatus, the Music from Marin Summer Festival, directed by Paul Smith, returns to the College of Marin Kentfield Campus and other venues throughout Marin County. Three weekends of free performances beginning Saturday, July 16, culminating in a four-hour marathon Sunday, July 24, of all the works.
The Contemporary Opera Marin—opera program at the College of Marin—will present four varied 75-minute programs of fascinating, eclectic, yet audience-friendly theatrical works. Feature performances by Marin County favorite Sibel Demirmen, Diana Kehrig, Valentina Osinski, Michael Mendelsohn, and Michael Orlinsky, as well as an active, Marin-based chorus. All works are sung in English with stage direction by Ellen Brooks and Rick Wallace.
The complete program will be repeated August 2—6 at Holy Sepulchre London, the National Musicians’ Church at Holborn Viaduct, London.
