The famous civil rights movement-era song “We Shall Not Be Moved” repeats a powerful phrase inspired by Judeo-Christian scripture: “just like a tree planted by the water, we shall not be moved.” Join College Chorus and the College of Marin Vocal Jazz Ensemble for a concert rich in the imagery of courage and resilience. This family-friendly concert features inspirational jazz tunes, spirituals and folk songs, a medley from the musical Wicked, and a rousing gospel rendition of “We Shall Not Be Moved”, combining both choral ensembles.
